About us:
We're both big DP fans, and seeing as we like the same things, share the same opinions and both go to comic school together we decided to put some effort into making a fan comic featuring the DP universe.

About THOAP:
Ever felt like you wanted something more out of the Danny Phantom series? Ever dreamt of a more "grown up" version, where ghosts are actually scary, where you get hurt from being smacked into a brick wall and where bitter reality of life is ever present? Yes, the aim of this fanzine is to create a "darker" version of DP, for an older audience than the original series was aimed for.

THOAP, or The HORRORS of Amity Park, is a double team fanzine collaboration between myself, ~mwarui and *fightbeast.

We both love the Danny Phantom series and while watching it we thought at the same time: "What would happen if Danny Phantom wasn't a show for kids, but for young adults?" And thus THOAP was born. A comic about Danny six years after the show ends*, his life and his problems.

THOAP will be darker, grittier, angstier and the most awesome thing you will ever buy. Ever.

Where will the comic take place?

The comic takes place in Amity Park, and stays there. There will be concept sketches of each location as we draw them.

Who is the main character in this comic?

Danny is the main character, as he is the one who has the most problems (Vlad is a very, very close second.) and the most potential for epic comic idea spawns. He is also our favorite character in the show.

What other characters will be in the comic?

The other characters will be, not in order of importance:
Jack and Maddie Fenton
Skulker
Dash Baxter
Vlad Masters
Penelope Spectra

How long will the comic be?

As of yet, we only have a vague idea, but we are thinking around thirty or so pages, not including covers and various things.

There it is, a very vague explanation about what THOAP is. We will update this journal with news, fun stuff and more as we finish our current projects and dive further into sweet, sweet madness.

(*As Phantom Planet is an episode that should never have happened, it never happened. The world does not know who Danny Phantom really is.)
